Introduction to the World of Pulling

We have been making harness for over 20 years for recreation and competitions. Many of the top pulling dogs are using or have used our harnesses.
There are many reasons to pull and exercise your dog:
1. Most any dog is capable of pulling something.
2. Many people are looking for a way to exercise their dog efficiently.
3. Pulling harnesses present the opportunity to exercise most every muscle your dog has

5. Pulling is an easy way for you to keep up with your dog.
6. This is a great way to condition your dog and have fun doing it. Whether you are pulling the kids or pulling weight and walking with your dog.

Basic Pulling Instructions

Simply hook the weight up to your dog in harness and walk along side them while they pull the weight. It is important that you don?t load the dog up with too much weight, always start with a realative light weight so that the dog gets used to the resistance of the weight. An old tire works well, small chains, even a small toboggan. There is a book called ?Guide to Pull Your Dog? is available to assist you in further with your training.

Construction of Harness

Each Harness is ?Made in the USA? and is sewn with a heavy duty upholstery stitching.
The Nylon webbing has a 2000 pound test. Each harness is sized by weight and breed of dog.

Sizing a Harness for your Dog

This sizing would apply to all three styles of harnesses.
There are six (6) harness sizes available which are based on the dog?s weight, age and breed. The harness will fit a dog within 10 pounds of the weight indicated on the harness size. Example: If a dog weighs 65 pounds you will need a 60 Pound harness. If a dog weighs 90 pounds you will need a 100 pound harness.

• Be sure to have an accurate weight of the dog
  
• Age will be a consideration. If a dog is 18 months old and is not fully matured the harness can stand to be a little big as the dog will probably grow into it.
  
• Selecting the proper type of harness depends on what the dog is pulling. If the load is coming from below the tail like a toboggan or the Regular Pulling harness and the Competition harness would work the best.
  
• If the dog is pulling someone for ski-jouring, on a skateboard, rollerblades or a sled team, the Racing harness would work best.
• Sizes available: 35#, 60#, 80#, 100#, 120#, 150#
• Colors available: Red, Blue, Black

The Regular Harness is designed for conditioning and recreational pulling. This harness is ideal for pulling kids on a toboggan, small loads, sledding and conditioning.
